It's that last day we were there today.
I have been asked by Mr Abg Mohd Syukri,AADK official to complete the client profile and record  into the client record log book.I need to key in the client data about their address,types of drug that they have taken,IC number,section code,attendance and their Investigate official that handle their case.

I continue doing it till evening.

And before the office hour end, we take the picture together with all the staff and say goodbye to them. 

Indeed, it is a very valuable experience for me that can conduct training there.

In the morning I continue finishing typing the assets record.

We have been told that we are going to have a monthly meeting at Cure and Care Service Centre at 2.30 p.m.

In the meeting we have the talk from the insurance company about the awareness of fire hazards.

 Before the meeting ended, as the boss who was transferred to another branch, the boss gave his last speech. The staff also gave gifts to the boss.We also received congratulations from all the staff because of the way we are already in the final days of our training there.We received many gifts from the staff and feel reluctant to end our training there.

In todays task, I continue typing the assets record into Microsoft Excel and print them.After that, I update the client file at the file room.

At the afternoon, I need to finish the task on checking the masterlisting to see which of the list is come from Ampang.

After lunch hour, we have been given the list of client to call them and invite them to the program that will be held.

In the morning I continue doing the update on the office assets.And after finishing them, I continue by key in all the assets data into Microsoft Excel.We divide the work into two so that we can complete it more quickly.
After key in into Microsoft Excel, we need to print it out and give them to Madam Maizatul.

I have been asked by AADK official Mrs Zuriani Zulkifli to key in the list of participant attendance "Plant Trees Program".This program have been held at futsal field Taman Tasek Tambahan.

After that we had a visit from our Industry Supervisor.

As usual, in the evening I continue updating the client info into the system.

Today my friend and I have been asked to do the listing of updated assets of the office.This task is normally they done for every year.This is not a task that can be done for one person.It is because we need to
lift and modify the position of the assets to get the assets number.


We continue finishing this task till evening.But as usual, in a particular time, like have been asked by Mr Nafrizan, I need to check how many client file that have been updated and I need to update them into the system and my friend Nuur Eiffah will help to keep the file into the selected drawer.

Wow...working on Saturday? It is not a problem for me because I love to have outside work like this where I need to work not in the office.Unfortunately, my intership partner could not attend today.

I arrive at the place "Taman Tasik Tambahan Ampang" at 7.30 a.m. After we have found the booth, we tidy up and  beautify our booth.There are also some other booth like Malaysia Ministry of Health, and also
Ministry of Information Communication and Culture.


After a while, one of the staff and also our boss invite me to join the aerobic.The aerobic session takes about one hour. I really have a good time during the aerobic with all the office mates.

We were having breakfast after that. Right after breakfast we continue start the planting session because in the afternoon, there will be a respectable come to officiate the ceremony.The program works so well until the opening of the launch.

In today's program, I learn a lot about working in a group.

Today we have a meeting  at 11.00 a.m. discussing about the upcoming event on Saturday. The event title is " Program Penanaman Sejuta Pokok Seluruh Malaysia"

The objective of this meeting is to discuss about the staff that will be participate in this program.The boss also announce the delegation of tasks given on the day.





Mr Khairul Azmi also explained to us about the tentative of the program.The program will be start on 7.30 a.m. till 1.00 p.m.

I attend the meeting in the morning at 9.00 a.m..Firstly, the Head Officer explain to us about the HADAK Program that he attend yesterday.He said that HADAK is a program that celebrated every year to commemorate the release of Tun Mahathir that day as drug eradication.

He also told us that the Head Director reminded all about this year as the year of volunteer.This year's theme is "Volunteer is Not a Choose but a Responsible"

Mr. Khairul also separate us into two groups for this Saturday's event.

On both of the day, I update the client file for their monthly attendance and also arrange the file into file room.

Although it is Saturday, there is event that we need to attend that is " Majlis Penutup Program Jelajah Transformasi Rakyat" at Precint 18, Putrajaya.

We leave at 7.30 a.m. in the morning at the event finish at 12.30 p.m.

As usual, I update the client's file at 12.30 p.m. and at 4.30 p.m.

And then, at 3.00 p.m. we have weekly meeting.The meeting agenda are announcing the upcoming events like "Program HADA (Hari Antidadah Antarabangsa Kebangsaan)" held on 19th February 2013,"Futsal Tournament between AADK Ampang and AADK Cheras" held on 20th February 2013 , "Program Kenali Jiran" held on 23th February 2013 and  "Hari Pembangunan Wanita" held on 10th March 2013.

The Head Office also remind us that the Head Director can come here in any time.Therefore, we need to standby to make sure the office in neat situation.

Other than that, Mr. Khairul Azmi also told us about the usage of the office computer.He also remind that it is prohibited to use the office computer for personal internet use.

My task for today is, I have to arrange the client's file in file room. I arrange them by sorting into section, location and also their first name's alphabet.

In the morning, we have a meeting for our head officer to tell all the staff about the upcoming events.

There are three event will be held in the near future.There are "Program Jelajah Transformasi Rakyat", "Program Anti Zina" and "Program Kenali Jiran".

In the evening, I help the officer to fill the resettlement form clients for treatment and recovery. 

We go back home ealier at 4.00 p.m to prepare for attending the "Program Jelajah Transformasi Rakyat" at Bukit Antarabangsa.

The officer asked us to separate the  document and module we have used and the one  that we not use.

I got daily task from one of the officer here to complete the regular daily update on client file in Microsoft Excel.I need to update them two times daily at 12.30 p.m. and at 4.30 p.m..

I started update the client file today as requested.

Today I learn about all the section related to National Anti-Drug Agency. There are five sections included 6 (1)(b) , 6 (1)(a) , 38 (b) , 8(3)(a) and 8(3)(b). 

6 (1)(a) : Need to go to Rehabilitation Centres and supervision. This section allow    customers to receive a sentence of three years imprisonment and three strokes of the cane if the breach of the conditions set.
6 (1)(b) : Need supervision and this section allow customers to receive a sentence of three years imprisonment and three strokes of the cane if the breach of the conditions set.
38 (b)   : Will be fined a minimum of 3000 and maximum 10000, depends on court's   
decision.

8(3)(a)  
   & 
8(3)(b)   : Both of this section are volunteer case where the client came by their 
               own willingness. But the differences between both of the section is 8(3)(a)
               ; Need to go to Rehabilitation Centres and supervision and 8(3)(b) ; Need 
               supervision.And if the client didn't follow the conditions they will be 
               punish by pay RM 500 or imprisonment for less than 6 months or both.

In the morning we had meeting chaired by Mr Khairul Azmi. He announced that there are officer from AADK Selangor will come to visit.

Therefore, he asked us to keep the workstation clean and tidy.After that, he also introduced us to the new intern from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).

We also discuss about the last program we had on the last friday. In the discussion, I discover that all the document we got from the participant respond from PLKN need to do the statistic for office record.

Shortly after the meeting I continue ask the groupmate on how to do the statistic and start doing it.In doing the statistic, I discover that all the respond we got from community need to do the statistic for office to easier record about level of understanding and knowledge about drug.

Before going back I finish to record the client record.

We arrived at 8.20 a.m and continue handled the program as planned.

I got a group with Mr. Shahrin and Madam Suriana. I also got experience in dealing with the participant.


Help them in implementing the agenda gives me a knowledge on how to deal and interact with all the participant.


The program then end at 12.00 p.m. After that, we straight get back to the office and continue on postmortem meeting with all the staff that participated.


During the meeting, our District Chief, Mr Khairul Azmi also announced the new District Chief ; Miss Hasnina.

As already scheduled, on this day we met on the agenda for the program at  PLKN camp of Setia Ikhlas at Semenyih tomorrow. 

First of all, Madam Zuriani announced the division of labor according to the group that has been agreed.We were divided into 7 groups, of which there are 3 facilitator in a group . 

After that, she also told us about the departure time, the distribution according to the vehicle, and also clothing should be worn during the program. 

Our district chief, Mr Khairul Azmi was told the whole meeting about the program agenda. 

As a whole, the agenda for tomorrow are more comprehensive program for the disclosure of knowledge about drugs and their effects. 

After completed meeting, I continue working to incorporate client data into Microsoft Excel. At the end of office hours, we worked hard to prepare equipment for the program tomorrow.

At 2.30 p.m today , I attended a monthly meeting at Cure & Care Service Centre at Ampang. The meeting chaired by Mr. Mohd Shahrin and followed by reciting prayers head by Mr. Abd Kadir Jailani. After that, the District Chief of National  Anti-Drugs Agency of Hulu Langat , Mr. Khairul Azmi gives his speech.

Mr. Nafrizan then took over the meeting with the knowledge council . At this time, he proposed and explained the manual file systems that facilitate the staff.There are some argument and also suggestion about the idea proposed. End of the session, Mr Nafrizan also explained about how to use the Microsoft Excel to update the client record.

For today I continue the work by recording data assets into office database.We separate work between each other in the office to reduce burden in our work station.

Besides that, we also do some housekeeping and cleaning to ensure the comfort.

In government sector there are two type of asset ; capital assets and inventory.Capital asset is the asset that value more than RM1000.00. For example, like desktop set .Either capital asset, inventory is value less than RM1000.00. Such as, table or printer.

The work that I do related to this matter is to register all the assets in the office record.Manual system that they use is where they use the registered number on the assets to record them.

Type of assets they have in the office such as cupboard, chair, file cabinet, pc desktop, printer, refrigerator, whiteboard, table and punch card machine.

On both of the day,I learn to arrange the document in client file.The document need to be arrange by the order set.After that, I also update it in the record file.

In the evening, I continue key in the volunteer data in the AADK system.

As usual, in the morning I do the record for incoming mail and outgoing mail.
And for both of the day I continue finishing key in data for volunteer team in the AADK system.

Another meeting for today,but a little bit different because the meeting called           "Kumpulan Inovatif Kreatif" ( KIK ). There are just several staff that participate in the meeting because KIK is a group that established to bring the new idea for upgrading the service and management of the office.

In the meeting, they discuss about the new idea that they want to bring this year to have the better performance.

In the evening, I continue doing the updating attendance record and also record the incoming mail and outgoing mail.

As usual, in the morning I started work on doing the updating record for staff attendance.
After that, one of the officer ask me to attend the meeting at 9.00 a.m. In the meeting the Head of Officer remind all the staff about common things that needed to be remind.Such as;
- Always update if out of the office
-Always ready for any visit from the Head Office.
-Cleanliness 
-Date of the next meeting
-Weekly and monthly report
They also discussing about the better idea for managing the file in the office.

Today I do the record for attendance manually insert into log book.Although AADK has it's own system, the manual way is also needed to back up if any problems occur.

Other things that i do is continue on record the incoming mail and outgoing mail, record the client file and also record the prevention file.

Today I continue on key in the OKP data in MY AADK. And today I am notified that MY AADK is consistent among all of the Anti-Drugs Agency in Malaysia.

Madam Maizatul Azma also told me today about the way of seperating document by variety of files. For example ;      
                    1. White File  : Open file or file for OKP/Client.
                    2.  Green File :  Confidential file.
                    3. Yellow File :  Small letter or temporary letter.
                    4. Black File  :  Hard files or any thick report.

There are also another system in Anti-Drugs Agency that is HRMIS or stand for Human Resource Management Information System. HRMIS is consistent among all the Anti-Drugs Agencies in Malaysia. It holds the staff profile, wages record, attendance record, bonuses and also information about any courses.

For today I have been explained about the RADA and also MAWADAH.There are the club volunteers in Anti-Drugs Agency.Individual that registered under RADA or MAWADAH can officially join any invited program that held by Anti-Drugs Agency. After that, I am assigned to key-in those RADA and MAWADAH member into Microsoft Excel.The record is save in the office desktop for any further use.

I also key in the OKP data into the Anti-Drugs Agency website system also known as MY AADK : http://myaadk.adk.gov.my. The system allow the administrator to insert data, edit data, update data, search data and also have login function.

There are few things that I learn in the first day. Such as insert the record for incoming mail and outgoing mail into the manual log book.This is the basic things to be done by the staff that in the administration area.To record the incoming mail and outgoing mail is a must for the agency and also for other government agencies to make sure the record is save for any further checklist.

Other than that, I also learn and be the viewer for the session between officer and OKP.OKP stand for "Orang Kena Pengawasan" or the client for the agency.During the session, the officer give counseling to the OKP for them to start effort on healing from drug.The officer also explained to me about the way on handling many king of OKP. The session also allow the the officer to get the latest information of the OKP. The latest information is very useful for the officer to update if there any problem occur on the OKP case.

In the first day of internship also, I get to know about the act drug in Malaysia's.For example, Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, Poison Act 1952,Drug Dependents (Treatment and Rehabilitation) Act 1983 and Dangerous Drugs (Forfeiture of Property) Act 1988.
